Time check: 8:40 PM

It is still bright here in Oslo, I think the sun is still up. How bright you ask? Look at the photo below taken at 8:39PM.

I am on my way home and will try to sleep ASAP. Why sleep so early? Well, this lady just said yes to a shift starting 4:50AM tomorrow! Awesome right? 😭😭😭

Luckily I am exhausted. Weirdly enough a shift from 8-16 made me much more exhausted, than my shifts between 4-11. What’s positive about me being exhausted is that I probably will fall asleep faster. Because let’s face it sleeping around 9PM is early for someone who normally sleeps at 2AM.

I did prepare myself for tomorrow 😎

Bought myself Battery Black Edition  😎😎😎

It’s crazy how hot it has been in Oslo, over 30°C almost daily!

I have had trouble sleeping because it is way too hot. The past few days I keep on seeing promotions for Halo-halo from Karabista.

So yesterday, because of the immense heat and because I was located I Majorstuen my boyfriend and I tried it.

We ordered the combo of Halo-halo and 4 siomai for 99kr.

The siomai was so delicious. The halo-halo was okay, but perfect for the hot weather. Oh how I miss halo-halo. I swear if I go back to the Philippines I would eat it all day! I want the ube ice cream on top!

Yesterday, I went to a Louis Vuitton event to showcase the new men’s perfume.

I brought my brother with me to the event.

For each perfume placed around the store there is a corresponding vase with the ingredients used for the perfume.

Also take note, I do not know much on perfume notes and will just describe them the best I can.

The first perfume we saw was the L’immensité. Which has ginger and grapefruit in it’s notes amongst others. I loved the smell, but it does remind me of other brands’ perfume. I would definitely buy this for my boyfriend though 😛

The next perfume was the Nouveau  Monde. It has a hint of cocoa and oud.

Personally, the strong was too strong for me.

The next fragrance is Au Hasard which has hints of sandalwood, cardamom and ambrette seeds.

This was one of the fragrances I was not a fan of. It was too strong for me.

The next fragrance is Orage with the blend of iris and patchouli. If I remember correctly I kind of liked the scent of this 😊

The last fragrance was Sur la Route which has a hint of Calabrian lemon, cedar and bergamot.

This one was something my brother and I liked very much.

Here are the fragrances together.

The fragrance my brother liked the most was the Sur la Route. I liked it as well, but I also liked L’immensité.

We didn’t buy any fragrances, yet. That’s because we both believe that before buying any perfume you have to try to see how it will smell on you. The same perfume can smell differently on people.

Hopefully, the Sur la Route smells good on him and for him. I might just buy him that if he wishes to 😊

I got my drivers license in 2015 at the age of 24. Prior to that, driving cars didn’t interest me. My uncle and my aunt gave me the driving package for my 18th birthday. I actually completed everything required except for passing the driving test itself. Shifting gears are my weakness, and embarassing as it is I failed a few times.

I never felt the burden of not owning a car or having a license until I started working with my current job. As I lived outside Oslo, I had to find ways to go to and from work on my own whenever I got shifts where there were no means of public transportation.

One day, I got the motivation to just get my drivers lisence. I just needed to re-take the written exam and take the driving exam again. So bought packages from prøve.no to practice with the questions and took the written exam. I passed, and I called my driving teacher who told me to book a practical exam before August 12. Why before that? The roads wouldn’t be as busy since the school year haven’t started yet.

I booked the earliest practical exam which was like a week after. The driving teacher wanted me to take automatic and not manual. Probably because he knows I still suck at driving manually. I practiced for a week non-stop. I did pass my practical exam 😁😁😁

Anyways, fast forward to March 2016. A day before my 25th birthday. I bought my first ever car, a Nissan Micra. It was from 2008, but it had a lot of life left.

Having a car made work life much more easier, I didn’t have any more restrictions on my shifts.

Funny thing btw, my car has received some damages, none of which were caused by me. A neighbor crashed into my car while it was parked. An aunt crashed my car somewhere when she borrowed it. The damages where light, not big bulks or anything.

I have gone to countless trips to Sweden, went on a road trip to Denmark with my car and visited family.

However, tomorrow I will be saying goodbye to it. When I started living in the city, I didn’t have any more use for my car. Also it’s quite expensive to own one. I went to have it’s annual service done last year, I had to pay 17000 NOK! That’s a lot of money.

So today, I cleaned my car and took it to a car wash. Poor things been covered in leaves and pollen.

So I went to Louis Vuitton today! I woke up to a text that my bag came in 😊

Funny thing, when I was inside the store I realized that I forgot my card with me 🤦🏻‍♀️ so embarassing, so I went back home and then back to the store with my card with me. Luckily, they understood but still embarassing.

I came back from the store not too long ago and without further ado, here is my wonderful Alma BB in Indigo.

I’ve been eyeing the Alma BB for quite some time now. The color I wanted, black and pink, is sold out. Indigo was the second color I wanted. The rose ballerine has crossed my mind, but I feel like it is too delicate and can get dirty fast.

I opted for the Alma in epi because I feel like it is a bit more discreet than it’s mono and damier counterparts.

I love that there is a hook on the handles specifically for the straps! I feel like this bag is going to be my go to bag in the future 🙈

Have a nice day ahead 💕

I just finished my first exam for the semester and it did not go well. I will surely pass, but not get the best grade. I have myself only to blame though 😔

My brain went on a vacation as soon as our classes ended! Also I have been sleeping a lot. It is so hot here in Norway, and combine it with pollen allergy, so there you have sleepiness!

Yesterday, I went out. The weather was incredibly nice and I think I wasn’t home until 6PM 😅

Took these beauties out 💕

I finally received the new phone cover I ordered from Ideal of Sweden.

I had previously owned a plastic cover with marbled print, but the print started to chip away.

I’ve been seeing ads for Ideal of Sweden on Facebook and instagram. It took a while before I decided to order it. It wasn’t until I saw the Hannalicious Collection that I decided to pull the trigger. I finally found the cover I wanted 😊

So here is my new phone case. The Hannalicious Collection in Magical Mint

I had some free time today after going to work to pick up some notes I forgot yesterday.

I decided to use my new to me Chanel flats today 😊

The flats are very nice to look a, but after wearing them for 3 hours, I got a blister. It sucks!

I stayed at Slottsparken for a while eating soft serve and reading a page of my Japanese book 😅

My brain went on vacation after our last Japanese class. Oh well!

I planned on going to the Royal Castle in Warsaw on a Sunday because I knew the entrance tickets were free 🙂 I think I got there around 1PM. The queue to go inside the castle was long! I think I stood in line for more than half an hour. It was hot and my back started to ache. The queue to get the tickets were not as long. It went quite fast actually.

I kind of rushed my visit to the castle. That was because I was running out of time and still had two more places I planned to visit.

Here are some photos from the Castle

On my second day in Warsaw, I went to the Neon Museum. It was closer to the hostel, than my other itinerary. It took me about half an hour to walk there, and I was walking with eveything I had with me.

The museum is really small and I think the ticket cost 10 PLN, I forgot.

The Neon Museum or Neon Muzeum contains neon signs from the Cold War Era. The neon lights are highly dangerous so touching them is prohibited. We weren’t allowed to take photos with a professional camera, only with our phones.

It is amazing seeing preserved neon lights from a different era. I have noticed that there are some Norwegian words that are similar to Polish which is nice.

I found a sign with a name on! Kat 😛

Nah, just kidding it is actually Kato.
