I finally finished and submitted my essay for one of my subjects. Been procrastinating all week, but finished it before going to bed last night.

Anyways, remember how I said I was following a meal plan? Well a part of my meal plan is to eat YT protein pudding. A few days ago I saw the pudding in mango flavor for sale at the training cente. So I bought it, three of it actually.

I finally ate it, and let me tell you it was disgusting!

I kid you not! It tasted bitter, with the after taste of soap! I wasn’t even able to eat up everything. Now I love the YT protein pudding in chocolate, but mango was very disappointing. I pictured the pudding to you know taste like mango!

That was basically what I managed to eat of it! The other two would probably go to the trash, and I really hate throwing away food!

On the other hand I am glad that I did not pay that much for them 🙈

Last Monday, I started with a new meal and workout plan. I do workout three times a week, but unfortunately I don’t see results. Sure I feel and have become stronger, but not results such as losing body fat. So I got tired of it and bought myself a coaching pack from Strongbody. Sure, it was expensive, but I am investing in myself.

I don’t really want to call it a diet, because I associate diet with eating less. My meal plan though, there are sometimes way too much food, but sometimes it is just enough. What I do like about the mealplan is that there are a variety of meals I can choose from.

Unfortunately, I went to the dentist today so my snacks were limited to food that did not require much chewing, therefore my next meals for lunch.

YT should seriously sponspor me XD I love YT proteinshake and the YT proteinpudding in chocolate, been choosing the meals which has them. They can however be expensive.

And dinner for today

I also made my bf the same dinner, and I guess it was okay. He liked it!

I still have my night food left, but that I will wait to eat when I come back from workout in a few hours.

When my boyfriend and I went to Osaka two years ago, we went to this sushi place in Shinsaibashi shopping district. We really loved the sushi there and the prices were not bad at all.

The sushi chefs also makes the food in front of you and they’re pretty fast! If you want more food you just place the plate in front of you and they put your ordered food there. When a new customer comes in, all the chefs greet the person at the same time.

The only thing I maybe do not like about the place is that they smoke inside, which is still pretty normal in Japan.

I study Japanese, and in one of our textbooks they always mention Mos Burger.  We tried our very first Mos Burger in Osaka, and it was very delicious.

I don’t think I have ever seen burgers prepared as nicely as these in Mos Burger. It is like they were taken out of a commercial.  The green soda is melon soda, which I personally like a lot.

Earlier this year I saw a surge of big stores selling American Candies.

So remember when I talked about going into stores and asking for plastic bags? Well I managed to go into a candy store. They were very helpful and gave me as much plastic as I needed.

After placing all my things in the plastic, I went around and shopped for candies 🙈

Those long nerds are so delicous! The twizzlers, not so much, it tastes like plastic 😔 I liked the other one’s as well. I like sour candies so bought some. The TicTac cherry and coke was delicious, I regret buying only one 😔

I wished American candies weren’t so expensive here in Norway

After visiting the Louvre, my mom and I went towards Champs Elysees! We decided to go to Ladurée to buy some macarons, but ended up going to the café. I have never eaten at the café, since I usually only buy the macarons. So I thought, why not? It would be an experience for the both of us!

My mom got the flan, super delicious btw! I got the ispahan. Fun fact: You can eat the rose petal, but I didn’t since I’m not a fan of eating flowers.

We also ordered tea for our desserts! My mom and I had a nice dessert experience there 🙂

I collect Ladurée boxes, so I bought the current box they had and got some macarons. I usually get caramel, orange blossom, and chocolate. This time I also got coffee and the rest, this old mind forgot!

The macarons are a bit pricey, but when you’re on vacation everythings okay 😛

I might be the worlds worst traveler when it comes to food! We never ate a Finnish dish.

So what did we eat? Here they are

Geisha ice cream! Oh so good!

Salted Chocolate Fudge from Fudge Love! This one is so good! Like seriously delicious! My sister and I shared one, because it was a bit pricey if you ask me, but so worth it.

Taco Bell! Yes they have TacoBell in Finland. I have never tried TacoBell, so I wanted to try it. I ordered a shared box for my sister and I. was it worth it? Meh, it was okay.

Pasta Carbonara from Vapiano! We stood in line for almost an hour just to get this pasta carbonara. When I first stood in line I was very hungry, but after taking a few bites. the cream was too much. It was good yes, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to eat it all up

Magnum Double coconut! I love coconut and chocolate together so this ice cream was so delicous!

I ordered some proper sushi. It was expensive, since I went to a sushi shop inside a mall, but it was okay.

Smurf pear soda. It was way too sweet though 😛

HESBURGER! This place is great! Delicous burger! wished I ate more of it when I was there 🙂

So during a late night search for food, we went to BurgerKing and saw chicken fries. We don’t have these in Norway, I think, so I wanted to try it! They were like an elongated chicken nugget btw.

First batch of sushi from an all-you can eat sushi buffet. I think we paid about 12 EUR per person.I say it’s worth it, especially considering how many sushi bites you can get with that price here in Norway!

I went to Los Tacos yesterday with the bf! This is my second time trying Los Tacos.

I am actually on a low carb diet atm, but yesterday after workout, I just had to have carbs!

My bf chose the Chipotle Chicken Burrito, while I went for the Bowl with Grilled Chicken.

The bowl had rice, black beans, salad, salsa, chipotle sauce amongst others and it cost about 118 kr.

Here is my bowl

Halfway through the bowl I was already feeling stuffed. So I gave some to my bf 🙈

The bowl was quite delicious and the price was not so bad!

If it wasn’t for my best friend who wanted to eat at Los Tacos last week, I think I would’ve never have tried this place.

Worth a visit! It’s located at Jernbanetorget at Europarådets plass 1

I remember a few years ago when bubble tea was so new, there were a lot of bubble tea shops in Oslo. Somehow, they disappeared one by one except for the one in Oslo City (as far as I know).

Last week I discovered that there is a new Bubble or Boba tea store in Oslo.  Of course I had to visit it, it has been way too long since I’ve had bubble tea and I have been craving for some!

Unfortunately they were out of Matcha and Taro when I visited, so I tried the mango iced tea.

Delicious! Especially the poppings 🙈
I also tried their coconut milk. A bit too sweet for my taste, but good as well.

The cup is so cute, especially the writings on the back

The cups are also re-usable, which is nice!

For those wanting boba tea in Oslo, the address is Skippergata 32. It is down at Karl Johans Gate 😊

Now I am craving for some as well 🙈

Yesterday, my boyfriend and I went to Fridays at Karl Johan for a late anniversary celebration. We arrived at Fridays around 9PM and were seated inside.

There were not a lot of people inside, but we were seated between a couple and a man.

The menu we got had only starters, burgers and ribs, so there weren’t really a lot of meals to chose from.

The man beside us left quite mad, I think he sat there for a long time. We didn’t really see a server til around after 20 minutes of sitting there. We were actually just considering leaving. When the waitress came she came to my bf and I. The couple beside us seemed annoyed, and I did tell the waitress to take their orders first as they were there before us.

We ordered Chips and dips, refillable soda, ribs and burger.

We got our chips and dips around 21:45. It was good!

My boyfriend drank all of his soda and asked for a refill. We didn’t see a refill until after he asked for his refill when the waitress came back 10 minutes later. On the brightside he got the refill for free. I decided to not drink up my soda and save it for the rest of the night.

In the meantime, another couple was seated between us. They have been sitting there for a long time as well. It took the waitress incredibly long time to take their orders.

The first couple beside us got their food around 22. And they have been sitting there around 30 minutes before us. Our food came 22:10, which meant we have been sitting there for an hour already!

I ordered ribs, the onion rings were delicious, fries and coleslaw was a bit meh. I wasn’t able to eat up everything though. My food came in a tray btw, not that attractive if you ask me.

Anyways while eating the other couple beside us had to return both their food. I think the guys fries were cold, and the bread his wife had was burned. I think it took another 15 or 20 minutes before the wife got her food. His came a bit earlier. By the time the wife got her food they pretty much didn’t stay that long.

My boyfriend and I weren’t able to eat up all our food to be honest, we usually do.

I was actually excited to go to Friday’s to celebrate our anniversary. I was looking into eating their delicious oreo ice cream. With their slow service and almost non existent servers, we just dropped it. We figured if we ordered it it wouldn’t come to us until 23:30 and it would probably be melted.

I am very disappointed in TGI Fridays Karl Johans’ service, pretty sure I was not the only one. It felt like those of us who were seated inside were neglected. The waiters  took a long time to get our orders and food. When they asked us three couples who sat beside each other if our food was okay, we were almost finished eating. The waiters were not attentive, someone from a group who sat before us had to raise their hand to get a waitress attention.

I don’t think I would recommend anyone going to Friday’s Karl Johan. Not worth the money! I think I would go to the one in Jernbanetorget. I had a much better experience there when I went there earlier this year.
